Bought a DGP IMSA 84 fiero

I just purchased the rarest and one of the top fieros you can get. I dont have any pics of it yet because i havent towed it home yet but heres the low down

The car is an all original DGP bodyed IMSA 84 fiero. It is not the fiero that paced the track at the 84 IMSA but it is the promo car that was sent out by pontiac to replicate the car that was pacing the track during the 84 IMSA race than going to a dealership for resale. Everything on the car checks out DGP stickers on all the replicated body parts every option except that of the sunroof so you dont get the distracting noise of the intake over the roof.
The car originaly came with the SD4 racing engine it was a carbed 4 cylinder motor that was a monster but seeing as how it will cost around $10K to put that motor back into it im going to be going a slightley diffrent rout with it with a 4.9 caddy V8 (im only putting an iron duke 4 in it for now so it will move under its own power)
It really is an honer to have a car shuch as this. Its going on classic car insurance.. ill bring it to 1 or 2 meets a year but a car this irreplaceable its not going to be on the road that much.

From the 1st time i have ever seen this car i fell in love with it it has smooth yet agressive body lines beautiful in all aspects and street legal. Me and The_stickman2 met up at the new ringold salvage yard for a day of junk yarding than i went back to his house to buy a few parts and next thing i know im standing in front of this little number which almost year later (today) Became my most prized posession.

Wana IRM you were right I bought the_stickmans IMSA. And i havent even be able to drive it yet and im already in love with it. I have no plans of changing the body from what it is except to maby get an 84 decklid and transfer the DGP spoiler and roof scoop to it. Engine wise.... im still in the woods about this one I would like to do another SD4 but im not going to be able to afford it.

Safe to say this one is with me for life.
More pics to come. i had to wash off a lot of dust that she had all over her from 8 years in a garage but the paint is close to flawless it needs some attention here and there but its to be expected.

Stock interior. i dont like it but i have to deal with it.
