| I finally broke down and ordered the goodies for my Saab. Unfortunately the exhaust is back-ordered because they have to come from Sweden. So I'm looking at the last week of Oct or first of Nov before I get my stuff. I got a full turbo-back 3" exhaust with high flow 3" cat, and O2 sensor extension cable and bumper cut-out decorative kit to make the muffler fit and stick out. Also I got the BSR racing tune Stage 3. And I picked up a set of BBR aluminum 17" x 8" racing rims for like $100 for all 4. The damned things are so light I can pick them up with one arm and I am pretty weak..lol. So when all is said and done, the Saab will be 276hp, 286 lb/ft of torque and hopefully grippy enough to handle it. I'm getting the rims powdercoated gloss metallic gunmetal or black. | |

| Yeah about a month or so probably until it's done. Might not have the wheels until next spring though. | |

| Do you have any pics of the wheels? I don't blame you... The salt in the road could really f*** them up | |

| http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=wheelCloseUp&wheelMake=BBS&wheelModel=CK&wheelFinish=Polished+w%2FClearcoatThat is pretty much what they look like, but they're used and have pretty nasty oxidation and curb rash, hence the powdercoating of them. But still, wheels that friggin' light- like many 10bls each if that, for $25 apiece is not bad at all and they all have Saab center caps. They are from a Saab 9-5 but will fit my 9-3 with low profile tires and should give me enough grip to be able to drive with the confidence I do now. I whip that car around corners like it's nothing, but after I've thrown another 65hp and 70 lb/ft torque into her, I doubt she'll handle the same. Fortunately I've done the stiffening already with a strut tower bar and subframe brace. I also want to eventually get the stiffening/lowering Aero springs. | |
